The Pulse 2 effortlessly connects to your wireless network, all you need to do is plug it in. The Pulse generates its own network which you can connect to from any device. It will then direct you to a web page with instructions on synchronizing to your network.
Like every good sound system these days, the Pulse has its own app. If you own more than one Bluesound product, the app will let you synchronize each for the ultimate multi-room experience. The Bluesound app is intuitive and well designed, and allows you to play music directly from your Spotify, iTunes or Tidal libraries with a single click. Bluesound Pulse 2 is compatible with just about every digital filetype, however it may reveal the flaws in your old 128kbps mp3s!

Pulse 2 is built for people who care about sound. Bluesound’s DirectDigital technology ensures that playback is lossless and glitch free with perfect CD quality. The Pulse 2 features a pair of 2.5" tweeters and a 5.25" woofer powered by an 80 watt amp. That means for a small bookshelf speaker, it can really get the party started when needed. A classy addition are the classic “bass” and “treble” controls rather than the usual run of EQ presets. But the Pulse 2 sounds so good, you’ll most likely never need to adjust the EQ.
