Terry Gilliam, the American-expat artist and member of Monty Python, has always had middling success as a filmmaker. His ideas often have trouble finding the funding to get off the ground. And when they do, the general public doesn’t seem to care. Well, this Friday night you can help correct the sins of the past and attend the screening of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. The critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated, box-office flop. Directed and co-written by Gilliam himself, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is filled with imagination and style. You owe it to yourself to see this on the big screen while you can.
