1. Great Horror Movie Night Presents—Friday The 13th

Time: Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. The screening begins at 7:45 p. m. First come, first served. Parking is free. No overnight parking.

Ten Thirty One Productions will present the Great Horror Movie Night at the old abandoned zoo in Griffith Park. This deadly night will include hilarious, movie-themed, live pre-show entertainment and audience participation games. Guests can enjoy Friday the 13th from the safety of their lawn chairs and blankets, but you are warned, spooky surprises will be lingering in the night waiting for you.
2. An All-Nighter On Elm Street
When: Friday May 13th

New Beverly Cinema will never let you sleep again with their A Nightmare on Elm Street marathon taking place on Friday The 13th. New Beverly Cinema will be screening all seven Freddy Krueger movies. This will be a jam packed event for all the horror fans out there. Tickets are no longer available online but you still have time to get them on the day of the event. This is a first-come, first-seated event.

3. Hollywood Forever Cemetery Movie Night
When: Friday May 13th

Something dark is coming to Hollywood. Yes, The Conjuring. Hollywood Forever Cemetery will be having a free screening of Warner Brother’s hit 2013 horror movie on the creepiest night of the year. This is the night to fear. Seating is first-come, first-served and is not guaranteed.
4. Â A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) Film Locations
Hop in the car with some friends and have a horror adventure day by checking out this classic movie’s locations. Wes Craven’s film, A Nightmare on Elm Street filming locations include Burbank and Los Angeles. See where Nancy Thompson lived, or the house where Tina Gray was murdered by Freddy. You could also head over to the school where all the kids from Springwood went. Don’t forget: no running in the hallway!

5. Halloween (1978) Film Locations
You can also head over to Haddonfield to see where Annie was murdered, or where Laurie Strode grew up, but above all, the house where young Michael Myers lived. Filming locations for this film include Alhambra, City of Industry, Los Angeles, Pasadena and Sierra Madre.

6. Club Underground Los Angeles

Maybe you just want to stay in and be alone. That’s fine. You could always hang at home and watch Spike TV’s Friday The 13th Marathon that will be happening all day and night on Friday. Put on some comfortable night clothes and get a few bottles of vodka, wine or beer—or all three if you like. It is the weekend, and enjoy some you time with some great scares.
